I first saw Ryan Hall‘s Molten Lava Chocolate Pancake recipe in an issue of Men’s Health magazine. It looked very interesting to me for a good post-workout meal. I had to try it.
The original recipe is here. I have altered the recipe to fit my taste. It is one of my favorite post-workout meals. Below is my revised recipe.
Molten Lava Chocolate Pancake Recipe:
1/2 cup pancake mix
cinnamon to taste
2 large eggs
1 scoop Muscle Milk or regular milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
water (enough to thin the batter)
DIRECTIONS: Mix everything together and cook on skillet. After you flip the pancake, let it cook only for 10 to 30 seconds so it’s still a little runny in the middle.
These pancakes are protein-rich and very tasty. Perfect for your post-workout meal. They are also very filling. Enjoy.
